Hotel “Korinjak”
is the first hotel on the Adriatic specialized for ecological, health
and holistic programs, offering also healthy vegetarian diet based on
traditional home cuisine. Allocated at the entrance to the small harbour
of Veli Iž on a colourful point in the mists of pine tree forest and
surrounded by beaches. Island of Iž is an ideal holiday spot for anyone
searching for peace and quiet.
The
hotel has the capacity of 80 rooms with bathroom, in total 200 beds,
most with balcony and a view of the see or the pine tree park. The
restaurant is located on a wide covered terrace above the hotel beach.
The lobby of the hotel has an aperitif bar and there is also a bar with a
small terrace on the beach.
In
the vicinity of the hotel you can find a camp whose guests can enjoy
the beautiful pine tree forest by the see. Camp’s guests use the meals
service of the hotel. The hotel has three halls for organizing seminars
or workshops and a small hall for individual treatments.
In addition
to the restaurant in which we serve balanced vegetarian diet the hotel
has a snack bar with refreshment at the beach.

Island
Iz is situated in northern Dalmatia, between Dugi otok and Ugljan.
Island Iz has two tourist villages; Veli Iz and Mali Iz. Veli Iz and
Mali Iz are beautiful little villages, surrounded by fig trees, olive
gardens and vegetable plantations. Iz is the most picturesque island of
the Zadar archipelago. It is covered with typical Mediterranean bush and
cultivated with approximately 70.000 olive trees.
Island Iz can
be reached from Zadar by bus (there is bus every hour), by car (you can
park your car at the guarded parking place in Zadar or you can take a
ferry boat from Zadar), by a regular or speed boat line. Zadar is well
connected through its airport and other means of transportation with the
rest of Croatia and Europe.
Today's
Veli Iz is a small tourist village with a hotel, a marina, a few
restaurants and café’s and 300 beds in private accommodation.
Veli
Iž is as if painted onto the shores of its wide bay, the high
bell-tower of St Peter’s in the middle. The hundred year old dockyard
and the contemporary marina are, alongside traditional carpentry,
sailing and fishing, are the symbols of the town.
On
the island you can find various kinds of beaches, sandy, gravel,
beaches made of stones and rocks and cemented beaches. In Veli Iz are
two public beach, one in front of hotel and one on small island of
Rutnjak, 300 m away from port, which is a clothes-free (naturist) beach
reachable from Veli Iz by a taxi-boat. But the whole island is a one
large beach with many lagoons, so you can rent a bike and enjoy in
discovering of island.
